Dr. Terrence Spencer, a highly skilled ophthalmologist with nearly two decades of experience, joins North Valley Eye Care. Dr. Spencer’s journey into medicine began after serving as a reactor operator in the US Navy. His passion for ophthalmology grew during medical school, where he discovered his love for the technical precision required in both clinical and surgical care. Specializing in cataract and refractive surgery, Dr. Spencer finds joy in restoring vision and improving patients’ lives. One of his most rewarding experiences was developing a pro bono program to perform LASIK for quadriplegic patients, giving them the gift of independence and clarity.
Dr. Spencer is known for his commitment to patient education and using the latest technology, from excimer lasers in LASIK to advanced cataract surgery techniques. Outside the clinic, Dr. Spencer is an avid outdoor enthusiast, enjoying mountain biking, golfing, skiing, and just about anything that lets him be active in nature. He is excited to join North Valley Eye Care and help patients achieve better vision while staying at the forefront of innovations in ophthalmology.
